How I Succeeded With Empower Network

I tried every network marketing company that I thought would provide me with some extra money. I called people, used 3 way calling, conference calling, brochures, business cards, and talked to everyone that would listen.

As usual, I was hung up on, told never to call their number again, and avoided like I had the plaque. Then one day I made the decision to market online and not use the phone. I was told I was crazy, I was lazy, and I didn’t understand the fundamentals of online marketing.

The first thing I did was take a self improvement course. I learned all the necessary elements to improve myself and set my goal for success in network marketing. I jumped back in the networking field again and was promptly disappointed as I continued to fail.

The next thing I did was take another self help course. I finished the course and tried again to make a profit in network marketing. Again, I failed. One day I was licking my wounds and feeling sorry for myself and had quit for the final time. I had told my up-line that I was through and was going to hang it up.

About that time a new networking company came along with a different concept. This company made money by blogging online. The founder didn’t even have a cell phone. I was skeptical at first and did not join. However, I had two friends who did join and made quite a large some of money in one month.

I was hooked. I joined and immediately started blogging. Everyday people read my blog, and realize that they can do the same as I do and they join. It is a dream come true. As of word of caution one must write articles that provide good information and value. You must write what people want to read.

Going Around

When flying the airplane and the airport is coming up on your GPS the next thing the pilot starts performing is a pre-landing checklist.

The pilot doesn’t just fly up to the airport and land any more than a driver runs up to a stop light and slams on the brakes to stop. Even a driver has a pre-stopping check list. Let up on the gas, apply a gentle pressure to the brakes and etc.

The pilot is no different but a little more involved. At least 10 miles out I check the altitude and speed. I adjust either one immediately because in order to have a smooth landing I must have the airplane under complete control at the beginning. Otherwise, I am trying to compensate for incorrect procedures that are critical for a smooth landing.

Here is my checklist for a smooth landing in one’s life:

  1. Be at your proper altitude and speed before starting any procedure. In losing weight it is vital that we are prepared to start a diet plan and follow it through. It is at this time we consider our activities and the speed of our lives. If either is too high or too fast the dieting procedure is going to be difficult. We must make the necessary adjustments immediately before traveling any further. In other words prepare yourself for going on a diet plan.
  2. Check your fuel mixture. The airplane burns a different fuel mixture when it is descending. Adjustment to the fuel mixture is critical to prevent icing and engine sputtering. In dieting you must check your fuel mixture also. Your fuel mixture will cause you to shake and feel weak if not set properly.
  3. At 10 miles out the pilot must know which runway he is going to use and how strong the wind is blowing. The pilot starts changing the aircraft configuration from that of flying to that of landing. In dieting you are taking your body from being overweight to becoming the correct weight. Maybe you need to start getting yourself in the landing configuration 20 miles out. The distance is irrelevant but the landing is critical. Give yourself enough time where your dieting experience is smooth and workable.
  4. Being at the proper speed and altitude and out the correct distance the pilot is now ready to start his descent. At the same time he is turning the airplane in the correct direction in order to get lined up for the landing. In dieting most people start off really well and then tend to get lax on their diet. You must guard against this at all costs. Do not eat food that will blow your diet. One meal won’t make you gain weight but it will make you take longer to get to your desired weight. In landing if I am 10 knots over my correct airspeed it could mean I will not have a long enough runway. Will I stop in time? Probably but the landing will be shoddy and not smooth.
  5. On final approach everything is set and the airplane is descending as expected. The runway is in sight, air speed is correct, fuel mixture is set, and the pilot is on course for a smooth landing. Then another plane pulls on to the runway or a deer walks onto the runway. Immediately a decision is made to go around. Applying full power the pilot aborts the landing so he can circle the airport and start his landing procedure over. On dieting you are approaching your destination weight when all of a sudden you are caught in a situation where you blow your diet. Then immediately apply full will power and bring your body back into the desired weight configuration.

Going around is a safe way to start over on a landing that was not going well or something interfered with the flight. Going around in dieting is the same way. It is a way of escape that one can follow so that the interference does not force you to change your dieting habits.

Going around actually shows intelligent reasoning by the pilot. It is a standard procedure that will save all kinds of errors and maybe even lives. In the small planes that I fly going around only costs a few dollars. In commercial planes going around will cost a thousand dollars. That is why commercial pilots make sure everything is on course and correct before they start their procedure.

Make sure in your dieting flight there is preparation, planning and execution. When you do this and apply these skills correctly the flight is fabulous. When executed wrong the flight is scary and unpredictable.

One last thought: A Good Pilot Is Always Learning.

Never quit, never give up, never complain, and most of all, never quit learning.

 

How To Create The Winning Edge

Do you ever wonder why some people succeed and others fail? Do you ever wonder what the success people do that the unsuccessful people don’t do?

For a long time I just figured they were born wealthy, rich and famous. Then I met a few people, especially athletes that overcame difficult odds to win. In their rise to the top, they were not wealthy, rich or famous. So, what drove them to succeed?

They were people. Just like you or me. They got up every morning, ate breakfast and started their mundane and routine day. They returned home at night, ate supper and went to bed. They arose the next morning to repeat the same process.

  • If it wasn’t riches.
  • If it wasn’t wealth.
  • If it wasn’t being famous.
  • Then what was it?

It was an attitude! That’s right: ATTITUDE

The attitude is determined by an inner drive. It is more than positive thinking. Positive thinking is going to get you so far and then it is of no value. In order to succeed and succeed big, positive thinking is required but positive thinking does not create the winning edge. It may help you attain a winning edge but before one is truly a winner there has to be something deeper, something not seen, that can give one the advantage so they can obtain the winning edge.

One of the first items in creating the winning edge and the most important item as well, is being able to see the end result, the winner. If you can’t see yourself standing at the podium receiving your award or see yourself as the slim sexy good looking person or see yourself being able to write a large check, then obtaining the winning edge in any of the illustrations is not possible. Why? Mainly, because this universe is set up to reward those who deserve to be rewarded. And if you don’t see yourself as being worthy, then you can’t see yourself as receiving the reward.

Everyone wants to make a million dollars but few are willing to do the necessary tasks to be paid that kind of money. Wealth comes to those, especially in America, who are willing to work for it. Let’s say you win the lottery and overnight you are 100 million dollars richer. Do you know that most people who win the lottery are broke within a few years after winning the money? Why? Because their mindset is not used to handling that large sum of money.

Poverty, especially in America, is mainly a mindset. Poor people tend to stay poor and rich people tend to stay rich. If you find someone who was poor and is now wealthy you will find that they started where they were and saved and spent their money wisely. By doing this day after day they became wealthy. When did they become wealthy? The first day they started handling their money wisely. The end result was not seeable with the naked eye but it was there from day one. At some point the persons mindset went from a mindset of lack to a mindset of much. Once that mindset was established and nurtured it was only a matter of time until the person became wealthy. In other words he created the winning edge.

This inner drive or spiritual drive is not a result of evolution or meditation. It is not a result of self discipline or structured living. This inner drive is the spirit of man that was put into us when we were created. It is not physical but a spiritual part of man that operates divinely in a materialistic world. The spirit is there and can be developed to enable one to live a very rewarding life.

One of the best ways to develop your spirit is by reading and mediating on God’s word. If you will put the Bible to practical use it will mature your thinking and spirit and create a winning attitude that is fantastic. Think how much more successful you would be if you had God on your side. Well friend, God is on your side. Our problem is we have believed wealth and riches were for the evil people and crooks and therefore ran away from God’s blessings. If we had read our Bibles we would have found out that God was for us and not against us.

So the secret to creating a winning edge is to draw close to God and have him show you what you need to do to serve and help others. In doing this he will promote you and give you a winning edge that will be better than any reward you could conceive.

Is The American Dream Dead ?

There was a time in America when one could start with a small investment, work hard, and wind up with a successful business or a completed dream. America, after all, was the land of opportunity.

Now with rising taxes, permits, fees, government agencies, zoning, and a host of other problems, the American Dream is more difficult to obtain. Or is it? There have always been obstacles, government agencies, taxes, fees, and permits one need to obtain before taking on any adventure or dream. So does bureaucratic red tape kill the American dream?

The American Dream is not some project or business that is open for outside forces to dictate the outcome. The American Dream is not governed by circumstances, conditions, red tape, or even government intervention. The American Dream lives and breathes within the individual person who has liberty and freedom at his disposal to energize and control his destination. The American Dream is inherent to America because it is a land of freedom and liberty. To say it exactly would be to say, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This has only been true in the Untied States because our foundation is one of individual freedom. Another large factor is the right to own property. Try building the American Dream in China or Iran. It won’t work. The governing agency does not permit individuals to chart their own course.

Is the American Dream Dead? No, it lives as long as we have libraries, movies, and independent expression. Not as long as we can travel from state to state at our choosing. Not as long as we can openly purchase products or decline a product to choose another. Not as long as we can ask a total stranger for help or give to someone who is in need. Not as long as we can choose a place to worship or have quiet meditation. Not as long as the veteran fights for our right to live in peace and safety.

The American Dream is not determined by government, the right to bear arms, the right to work, the right to keep the money I earn, and spend it the way I want.

What then determines the American Dream? The American Dream is determined by the mindset, attitude, and determination of the individual. A mindset that says, “I will succeed no matter what.” A mindset of intestinal fortitude and bravery to go forth and conquer the obstacles that stand in the way of the American Dream. If you think the dream is dead, then you are correct, and you are defeated. The end of the American Dream is not dead. Only if you are thinking about quitting, then the American Dream is Dead inside you. However, watch out! Someone will come along and prove you wrong.

Is the American Dream Dead? Ask a movie successful movie star, Colonel Sanders, Ray Croc of McDonalds, professional baseball players, race car drivers, airplane pilots, grandparents, and families. Ask any true blooded American if he is free and if the American Dream Stills Lives.

Is the American Dream Dead? No, a thousand times NO!

Is It Time To Glitter?

I look at the internet world today and see thousands upon thousands of glittering gold images. Networking, web sites, one time offers, list building, safe lists, and on and on of “Proven”, “Guaranteed”, “Once In A Lifetime” opportunities that are glittering and waiting for just the right person to take hold and join the ranks of becoming a millionaire. Bull, Bull, & More Bull!

I have tried selling, marketing, article writing, and many other sure fire methods that took my money, my time, and left me wanting. Some of the methods were okay, others were a waste of time. All of them glittered, but none of them turned out to be gold.

However, being the eternal optimist that I am, I decided to tell you of my failures and successes in my web pages. Everything on my web page, Terry F Warner, has been tried and proven personally by me. On my “Terry’s Recommend Page”, are links that I personally use to build my networking business. They are easy to use programs, affiliates, and networking links that I found were helpful and did not cost a lot of money.

Back to the subject, Is It Time To Glitter? Only you can answer that. At first I would glitter, only to fade out, rise again and glitter some more. I got mad, frustrated, and burnt out several times. Presently, I have to continually watch myself to keep from getting so caught up in networking that I have no time for living a normal life. I was glittering, but with a “fools gold” approach. Therefore the glitter faded several times.

I am a private pilot and before flying to a distant destination, a flight plan is filed. In my flight plan is all the information I need to get from one airport to another. My flight plan allows for emergencies and unseen problems that a pilot would encounter. Flight planning is crucial. So is planning your internet marketing business. A plan is crucial.

In my flight plan I have what are called “way-points” that tell me I am on the correct flight path. In visual conditions it might be a water tower or a lake. In tougher instrument conditions it might be a radio signal or a instrument heading. Either way, it instructs me if I am on the correct path.

In networking, the same is true. You must have a plan. You must follow the plan and if you are off course, you must correct immediately. Also, if I am flying a complicated airplane, my flight plan has to be even more accurate, and constant course correction is essential. Well, networking is a complicated airplane. There are many variables and constant course corrections that demand immediate attention. However, my first duty in flying the airplane is to “fly the airplane.” Stay focused and “fly the airplane.” Networking is the same; “Stay focused and execute your plan of action.”

Visiting my web page and reading my articles will help you stay focused so you can “fly” to your destination. Must you use my plan and suggestions? “No.” However, wouldn’t it be easier and more fun if you took a few suggestions and tried a couple of my proven methods?
