Moringa Health Benefits : Lasting Results From Proper Nutrition

Moringa health benefits have had surprising results on my health and well being. After losing weight from taking Smart Mix™, a powder that is mixed with water from the Moringa Tree, and eating sensibly, I have noticed that I just feel better and have wanted to continue this new lifestyle.

It is a rare occurrence when I think of exercise as something I would like to do. However, after following my own weight loss plan, I was able to take off close to thirty pounds in less than two months. I now find myself getting on the exercise bike to relieve leg stress and continue feeling better.

The Moringa Health Benefits continue to affect me in every way. Another benefit is the mental clarity that has improved over the last few months. The Moringa Tree has been labeled the most nutrious plant on the earth. The Moringa tree has benefited starving children and literally turned them around in just two weeks.

One of the most frustrating things about this Moringa Tree has been the lack luster response when I tell others. This country, the U.S.A., has adapted a lifestyle of high calorie, low nutrient, hollow tasting food. We have conditioned ourselves to eat in a hurry, while we tap away on our smart phones and I-Pads for all the latest news and gossip. Have you ever considered that we are what we eat? The grease, the white bread, and the sugars, combine and lodge their contents inside our body. It clogs our arteries, adds fat around our organs, and causes our hearts to work harder with each added pound of fat.

We load our potatoes with butter and sour cream. We super size our burgers, add extra salt to our fries, and then order a diet cola. Do we honestly think that drinking a diet cola is going to counter act this diet? Everything has been turned upside down and we have been sold a lie. We have also welcomed the lie. What is this lie? The lie is that we can continue to eat burgers, fries, shakes, and high calorie, high fat food and suffer no consequences. All is not lost if we decide to act now.

Moringa Health Benefits that come from the Moringa Tree can change and in some cases eliminate the health problems that have come upon us. It is never too late to start. At age 64, I knew I was nearing retirement, was overweight and had some health problems. One day I decided to change my lifestyle and start eating healthy. I also decided to start taking and selling the Zija™ line of products. In 20 short days I lost 16 pounds. In 1 ½ months I had lost close to 30 pounds of ugly, unwanted fat.

I continue to take the Zija™ products and enjoy a new lifestyle of health. It is hard to write into the words the lasting benefits of Zija™. I have a new zest for life. I want to continue to improve my health. Actually, two years ago I passed 3 of 4 requirements to get a price reduction on my health insurance. This year, because I lost the weight my body mass index was in the good range and I was able to save $450 on my insurance premiums. However the price is not as important as the way I feel. I have more physical energy and so much more mental energy and stability.

So I urge you to visit my web site, MasterMyWeight.com. When you click on the link you will be brought to a capture page. Please sign in to start receiving my newsletters on taking Zija and maybe even becoming a distributor. I only want to enroll distributors who want to make money and take the products. If you just want to use the products that is okay also. If you want to just browse and ask questions, please feel free to do so. The most important thing is to do something to get on a healthy diet and lifestyle. This country is in a depressing condition and the health care scenario is only going to go from bad to worse.
The time to act is now. Change while you still can. Tomorrow may be to late.

Thinking About Retiring? Think Again!

“Most Americans won’t be able to clock out for the last time until around age 80, according to the Employee Benefit Research Institute.” Forrest Jones, Moneynews.com writing in the Financial Intelligence Report of August 2011.

As I approach age 65 this November and think about how much I was looking forward to retiring and not having to answer to the demands of a structured work schedule I am now being forced to forgo my retirement all together.

I have a tendency to be angry and upset as I have worked hard all my life and now am somehow being cheated out of my senior years. However, after more consideration to retiring, I am beginning to see the advantages of not retiring. I have worked hard and saved well because Arlene and I have worked as a team through some 40 years of marriage.

So, instead of griping and being discontent I decided to list some benefits of not retiring.

  • By continuing to work I can finish making the million dollars that I was going to make as soon as I could after high school and at least by the time I reached age 25.
  • I can continue to play with all the smart phones and technology and pretend I know what I am doing and still ask my Grandkids to program the VCR and set the clock in the kitchen.
  • I can continue to make mistakes on Facebook, My Space, and Twitter and everyone overlooks them.
  • I can start my diet over for the umpteenth time and continue to take all kinds of energy drinks and still indulge in fast food. (When I was a kid, fast food was getting your meal and being gone within 30 minutes. After all, it is still called a lunch hour.)
  • I can continue to work and coworkers seek out my advice. They seldom listen or take my advice but it is nice that they ask. Sometimes I have been known to give advice even when they didn’t ask for it. I like being helpful.
  • I can tell amazing stories of how we put a man on the moon with a slide rule, an archaic device for math calculations. I know how to use an abacus. I know how to use fractions and round numbers for multiplication. I know how to make change on transactions when the electricity goes off.
  • I can drive under the speed limit and people blow their horns and wave at me. How fortunate I am to make friends so easily out of complete strangers.

So I think I will continue to work and be productive. After watching some old horses being loaded in a truck going to help out a glue factory, I am motivated to work harder. I like be able to pay the government instead of the government paying me. I think the government pays a lot of folks too much for their work but if I become a retiree I just wouldn’t feel right about complaining about how bad a job they are doing. (I don’t want a letter from my representative saying, “Be quiet old man. Remember you work for us now.”)

Yes, I will keep working, pay my taxes, and enjoy this great country. Everything is going wrong and personally I think we are running out of time. On the other hand, sitting down and waiting for the inevitable is just not my style. Therefore I will be proud to continue to make this country a better place and stay employed and active as long as I can. Hey, the younger generation needs me.

Going Around

When flying the airplane and the airport is coming up on your GPS the next thing the pilot starts performing is a pre-landing checklist.

The pilot doesn’t just fly up to the airport and land any more than a driver runs up to a stop light and slams on the brakes to stop. Even a driver has a pre-stopping check list. Let up on the gas, apply a gentle pressure to the brakes and etc.

The pilot is no different but a little more involved. At least 10 miles out I check the altitude and speed. I adjust either one immediately because in order to have a smooth landing I must have the airplane under complete control at the beginning. Otherwise, I am trying to compensate for incorrect procedures that are critical for a smooth landing.

Here is my checklist for a smooth landing in one’s life:

  1. Be at your proper altitude and speed before starting any procedure. In losing weight it is vital that we are prepared to start a diet plan and follow it through. It is at this time we consider our activities and the speed of our lives. If either is too high or too fast the dieting procedure is going to be difficult. We must make the necessary adjustments immediately before traveling any further. In other words prepare yourself for going on a diet plan.
  2. Check your fuel mixture. The airplane burns a different fuel mixture when it is descending. Adjustment to the fuel mixture is critical to prevent icing and engine sputtering. In dieting you must check your fuel mixture also. Your fuel mixture will cause you to shake and feel weak if not set properly.
  3. At 10 miles out the pilot must know which runway he is going to use and how strong the wind is blowing. The pilot starts changing the aircraft configuration from that of flying to that of landing. In dieting you are taking your body from being overweight to becoming the correct weight. Maybe you need to start getting yourself in the landing configuration 20 miles out. The distance is irrelevant but the landing is critical. Give yourself enough time where your dieting experience is smooth and workable.
  4. Being at the proper speed and altitude and out the correct distance the pilot is now ready to start his descent. At the same time he is turning the airplane in the correct direction in order to get lined up for the landing. In dieting most people start off really well and then tend to get lax on their diet. You must guard against this at all costs. Do not eat food that will blow your diet. One meal won’t make you gain weight but it will make you take longer to get to your desired weight. In landing if I am 10 knots over my correct airspeed it could mean I will not have a long enough runway. Will I stop in time? Probably but the landing will be shoddy and not smooth.
  5. On final approach everything is set and the airplane is descending as expected. The runway is in sight, air speed is correct, fuel mixture is set, and the pilot is on course for a smooth landing. Then another plane pulls on to the runway or a deer walks onto the runway. Immediately a decision is made to go around. Applying full power the pilot aborts the landing so he can circle the airport and start his landing procedure over. On dieting you are approaching your destination weight when all of a sudden you are caught in a situation where you blow your diet. Then immediately apply full will power and bring your body back into the desired weight configuration.

Going around is a safe way to start over on a landing that was not going well or something interfered with the flight. Going around in dieting is the same way. It is a way of escape that one can follow so that the interference does not force you to change your dieting habits.

Going around actually shows intelligent reasoning by the pilot. It is a standard procedure that will save all kinds of errors and maybe even lives. In the small planes that I fly going around only costs a few dollars. In commercial planes going around will cost a thousand dollars. That is why commercial pilots make sure everything is on course and correct before they start their procedure.

Make sure in your dieting flight there is preparation, planning and execution. When you do this and apply these skills correctly the flight is fabulous. When executed wrong the flight is scary and unpredictable.

One last thought: A Good Pilot Is Always Learning.

Never quit, never give up, never complain, and most of all, never quit learning.

Eat Better, Not Less

For years, I would go on a diet, lose weight, then return to my old eating habits and gain the weight back. I would not intentionally go back to my old eating habits but sooner or later I was overweight again.

I would have the best intentions but as everyone knows eating healthy in a fast food environment is tough to do. At first I would go into a hamburger place with the intention of ordering a salad. That would last about 3 seconds until I saw all the pictures of burgers and meals. I would fail and order hamburger and fries with a soft drink. I would then feel guilty, mentally beat my self up, and then try and repeat the process with a different out come the next day. However, since I blew lunch, I would usually stop for a coke and peanuts or chips on the way home. Food was my companion and food was my master.

My next effort was to say to myself that I would eat a salad before I went into the fast food restaurant thinking if I pre-planned the meal I would be successful. I did much better with this approach and could last up to 5 seconds before ordering a burger and fries and soft drink.

My next effort was to take my salad with me and eat it in a park or some quiet place. This effort failed miserably as the lunch would call out to me while I was driving to be eaten immediately. Since it was a salad and not fattening I would eat the lunch by 10 o’clock and then eat my burger and fries and drink at lunch. This approach kept me full all day and I managed to gain weight.

My next effort and the one that worked is the one I am still on today. I found a nutritional supplement that I mixed with 12 ounces of water and drank on an empty stomach before breakfast. This nutritional supplement provided me with enough vitamins and minerals that I was not hungry when lunch time came. I still had some desire for a burger and fries but this time I chose to purchase a salad at the local grocery store and eat this for lunch. This was enough for me and I lasted until supper where I had a bowl of soup. Because I did not over eat during the day I was able to sleep all night long and actually felt relieved that I had conquered my first day on controlling my eating. I was on my way to permanent weight loss.

So here is a brief list of my eating habits:
• Smart Mix at 5:45 a.m.
• Green tea, nothing special, 6:00 a.m.
• Bowl of Old Fashion Oatmeal at 6:45 a.m., Small glass of orange juice, eye dropper of sub-lingual B12.
• Energy capsule at 10 a.m. if I think about it or feel I need it.
• Salad bar from local grocery store at noon.
• Cup of coffee on drive home and maybe a package of toast and peanut butter crackers. (around 4 p.m.)
• Soup for supper with 1 cracker.
• Miracle tea before bed.
That is my diet in general and it works great. I have finally mastered my food and eat better and not less. The important ingredient is the Smart Mix in the morning as it supplies my body with the proper nutrition I need to stay on my diet.

Eating salads has now become normal instead of rare. Do I still eat hamburgers and fries and soft drinks? Yes I do. I just decide when I can eat fast food and not eating fast food as a first choice. I enjoy the weight loss more than I enjoy the fast food. At some point in your life eating better and not less is going to have to be your primary motivation if you want to keep the weight off.

Keeping the Weight Off

How many times have you lost weight, received congratulations from your friends, and then within a few days or within a month, slowly added the weight back on? Please don’t bother to answer the question as this happens to all of us.

This is especially true if all you did was go on a diet, lost the weight, and then went back to your old eating habits. The primary reason you gained the weight back is that you went to eating the same foods that made you gain weight in the first place. You tell yourself, “I’ll just eat a smaller amount and this ONE time won’t really add the weight back on.” Personally, I can gain back weight in just one meal.

This is where Moringa Health Benefits actually make a difference. Drinking ZIJA Smart Mix every morning supplies your body with the essential vitamins and minerals that help you fight off hunger and binge eating. I am often asked the question, “Are you hungry when you diet?” The truthful answer is not an easy “Yes” or “No.” I drink my ZIJA Smart Mix and even take a XM3 Capsule around mid morning. If I am really involved in my work, the time passes quickly, and lunch comes quickly. If however, I am not really involved and working in the bakery department around all of the food smells, then lunch comes slowly and I am starved. Even worse, for me, is working in the Bar-B-Que section and smelling the aroma all morning. This is where it is extremely important that I get my focus back on Mastering My Weight and eat sensibly.

I find there are two items that I just have to leave alone.

  • Fried Foods
  • Bread

The fried food sort of speaks for itself. In order for me to lose the weight and keep it off, frying anything, is off limits. I have tried to limit my amount, get smaller portion, and about everything else to try and eat the burgers, French fries, and fried okra. Face it, frying is a big problem if you are dieting.

Bread is my second hurdle. I especially enjoy two pieces of toast and a glass of milk before going to bed. Bad choice and bad timing.

I work a very physical and demanding job as a grocery store refrigeration technician.

Here is my normal diet for losing weight.

  1. Up at 5:30 and immediately have a 16 ounce glass of ZIJA Smart Mix.
  2. 1 cup of green tea after the ZIJA Smart Mix.
  3. Breakfast at 6:45 consisting of a bowl of oatmeal, small glass of orange juice, and an eye dropper of liquid B-12.
  4. Cup of coffee as my drive time to work is two hours.
  5. Mid morning, 10 a.m., I take an XM3 capsule if I need a boost.
  6. Lunch is the salad bar from the grocery store. My salad consists of dark lettuce, English peas, broccoli salad, 2 small slices of skinless baked chicken, 4 green olives, 4 black olive slices, sunflower seeds, 4 cherry tomatoes, 2 packages of crackers, and maybe a hard boiled egg if I am hungry. I don’t use salad dressing, my choice, and I don’t drink anything, also my choice.
  7. On the way home, I will usually get a cup of coffee or unsweetened tea. Maybe a protein snack if I am particularly hungry.
  8. Supper is a bowl of lite, low sodium soup and 1 whole cracker. I drink water with my soup.
  9. Before bed I drink a cup of Miracle Tea.

I will be the first to say this is sort of a tough diet. I like it because my choices are definite and the same everyday. I would rather have a known diet than try and decide every meal if I can have this or that. My wife is totally different and can pick and choose a lot more than I can. I just like it laid out in black and white.

I have reached a point in my life where I either lose the weight or stay on blood pressure medication and restrict my lifestyle.
